Corporate Leadership Award
and
Susan and Michael Dell
Global Leadership Award
Join Sesame Workshop for an evening of celebration as we highlight the Workshop's leadership and dedication in providing access to education where little or no opportunity exists. Through our groundbreaking productions in India, South Africa, Bangladesh, and elsewhere around the world, Sesame Workshop is making a meaningful difference in the lives of children.
With one out of six children in the world living in India, 128 million between the ages of two and six, the potential for positive change and long-term impact is enormous. Through the combination of mass media and community outreach, Sesame Workshop's Indian co-production, Galli Galli Sim Sim, is making high quality educational experiences accessible to children most in need and aims to positively impact their educational and developmental outcomes.
This year we present our Corporate Leadership Award to Richard D. Parsons, Chairman of Time Warner Inc -- a valued partner of Galli Galli Sim Sim -- for his commitment to children worldwide. We are also honored to present our Global Leadership Award to Susan and Michael Dell whose good works on behalf of millions of children in the U.S., India, and around the world serve as an inspiration to others.
This event will provide support to Sesame Workshop's unique programs and initiatives in the United States and abroad. For further information about attending or contributing to the Benefit, please call Benefit Headquarters at (212) 627-1000 or email sesame@resevt.com.
